Mrs. Kasugano was the wife of Mr. Kasugano and the mother of their fraternal twins, Haruka kasugano and Sora Kasugano. She, along with her husband, have died in an automobile accident, leaving their children orphaned.

Before their untimely death in a car accident, it seems through various family photo albums and flashbacks that they were in a very happy marriage, with nothing contradicting this. Both cared for their children deeply. Little else is known.

Though not much is known, the Stuffed Bunny is portrayed as a gift from Sora's mother in the anime (but a gift from Haru in the manga). It can be inferred from this gift (How Sora treasures it), and Sora's general sadness over their parents death, that Sora and her mother were close. Sora's physical appearance closely resembles her mother's, particularly their shared hair colour.
